Stampin’ Up! Pootler’s Design Team, week 1 – Brightly Lit Christmas

5th October 2017

Its Thursday and I feel terrific, terrific Thursday’s maybe the theme of the month – why you ask? Well I am extremely honored for the month of October to be part of the Pootler’s Design Team!!

My upline Sam Hammond Donald from Pootles.co.uk, has a 5-strong design team and each month she sets them a challenge featuring a stamp-set. This is the reason I am now major delighted – she picked my favourite set! Brightly Lit Christmas, for those that subscribe to my blog (a very big thank you, you can subscribe from the left hand side bar) you will know that I have already used this set in quite a few projects!

So for the month of October, every Thursday check back here for a chance to see a new project featuring this lovely set (anddddd for the first few days of October, this set is DISCOUNTED by 15% – check my blog).

This weeks creation (do scroll down for instructions and product list):

So for this weeks project:

1/ Create a tent fold A6 card out of our black cardstock, adhere onto the front Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper (14cm x 10cm).

2/ The DSP I used was the lovely merry music specialty paper (13.5cm x 9cm), I wrapped the Black and White Striped Ribbon around the paper a third of the way up – and then adhered it to the glimmer paper (I used fast fuse as it can be tricky to stick anything to the Glimmer Paper).

3/ Stamp the lamp post onto a whisper white panel (12.5cm x 3cm), color the lamp post top using Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Markers before adhering this panel to Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper (13cm x 3.5cm). Adhere this panel to the left hand side of the card.

4/ Stamp the sentiment, fussy cut it out and adhere to the glimmer paper, fussy cut with a slight border and adhere this over the ribbon.

5/ To finish stick some pearls to the corner and you have your simple ‘glimmery’ Christmas Card!
