Its a Thursday in October, which means its another Pootler’s Design Team post!!
My upline Sam Hammond Donald from Pootles.co.uk, has a 5-strong design team and each month she sets them a challenge featuring a stamp-set. This month she has picked my favourite set! Brightly Lit Christmas, for those that subscribe to my blog (a very big thank you, you can subscribe from the left hand side bar) you will know that I have already used this set in quite a few projects!
So for the month of October, every Thursday check back here for a chance to see a new project featuring this lovely set …. and up until November 10th you have a chance to win this set, click here for details of how to enter this giveaway (no purchase necessary).
This weeks creation (do scroll down for instructions and product list) is this bright, water coloured card.
So for this weeks project:
1/ Create a tent fold A6 card out of our black cardstock, adhere onto the front Berry Burst Cardstock (14cm x 10cm).
2/ I created my own DSP out of Whisper White cardstock (13.5cm x 9cm), by using post-it notes to select certain areas of the cardstock… Watercolouring those areas in and stamping the greeting at the end I simply used the line stamp (without inking the arrow) to create the border.
3/ Stamp the sentiment using berry burst onto a whisper white panel and cut around, before adding onto black cardstock to create a slight border.
4/ For the ribbon, I used my fuse to attach the berry burst ribbon straight to the card and then using tear & tape, I adhered the vintage trim.
5/ To finish stick some black rhinestones to the sentiment and you have your simple ‘bright’ Christmas Card!
